Some works that I loved the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna of . This self-portrait by Rembrandt is amazing the strength that it is alive, it seems very exciting. There goes directly into my "top ten": 10 favorite portraits in the field of painting :-) In this magnificent museum also had the occasion to remind Thomas Bernhard and his novel old masters when I sat down the Portrait of man with white beard of Tintoretto.
I end this post has left me so full of enthusiasm I wish you all a Happy New Year 2011.

A few paintings I loved in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna . To start the year on a high point, here is one of the best paintings ever: this self portrait by Rembrandt so alive and so moving it would make a cat cry :-) There it goes immediately into my top ten favourite portrait paintings. In this amazing museum I also had, of course, a special thought for Thomas Bernhard and his novel Old Masters when I sat in front of the Portrait of a bearded man by Tintoretto .

To start the year off, here is one of the strongest paintings in the world, this self-portrait of Rembrandt bursting canvas, by the throat, a grocer would cry (as said Romain Gary) and is whisked my top ten favorite portrait painting in radius. Great moments in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, then, and a thought for Thomas Bernhard and his novel Old Masters when I sat before the Portrait of man with the white beard of Tintoretto.
